This scenario is about the section of the Adriatic Railway from Ancona to Pescara, including the junctions of the several lines that branch off from it.

Classified as a "fundamental" line by RFI (the Italian Railway Infrastructure company), the Ancona-Pescara is a double-track line powered by 3 kV direct current. It uses both the SCMT and traditional signaling systems. Currently the line has 3 branch lines, all single-track: one from Civitanova Marche-Montegranaro to Fabriano (not electrified), one that links Porto d'Ascoli to Ascoli Piceno (electrified), and one that links Giulianova to Teramo (electrified).

The entire scenario was created from satellite images as shown in Google Earth, with the help of line specs booklets 103 and 105, and using some cab-rides available on YouTube.
