This simulation covers the section between the two main stations of Genoa, in Northern Italy: Genova Piazza Principe and Genova Brignole.

The two stations cover different types of traffic along the important Tyrrhenian north-south line...

  • Long-distance passenger and freight traffic from Northern to Central Italy crosses the two stations.
  • Long-distance passenger traffic from Milan to the Western Italian Riviera uses GID/GIP entry/exit points, changes direction at Piazza Principe and continues via SAD/SAP points.
  • Local traffic from the Western to the Eastern Riviera crosses the two stations using the SAD/SAP and NED/NEP entry/exit points.

There are various split and merges at Genova Brignole for the trains terminating/originating from that station.

    IMPORTANT

This simulation organizes icon files into subfolders within the main directory. To make these subfolders accessible to Train Director, you must add the path for each folder in the program settings, under the "Environment" page, in the "Signal directories" field.

In this specific scenario (and others by Paolo Gronchi), you need to enter the following three folders into the environment field (the full path is not required for icon folders; the folder name is sufficient):

    resources;trainresources;localresources;other folders...

Please remember that the semicolon character ; is used to separate the different folder names.

Moreover, it is mandatory to uncompress the .zip file and play the scenario opening the .trk file in the uncompressed folder.
