Simulation: Cervignano - Udine

 

 

This simulation is about the Cervignano freight hub and the Udine Station, in the North-East of Italy.

Several lines are present in the scenario.

• Venice-Trieste (via Latisana) - on this line run mainly regional, regional limited, a few InterCity and many freight trains.
• Venezia-Udine - on this line run mainly regional, regional limited, a few InterCity and many freight trains.
• Udine-Gorizia-Trieste - on this line run mainly regional and many freight trains.
• Trieste-Udine (via Palmanova) - on this line run almost exclusively regional train from/to Trieste-Udine-Tarvisio and many freight trains originating in Cervignano Smistamento.
• Linea Udine-Tarvisio - passenger and freight trains to/from Austria.

Moreover, two freight yards are present.

• Cervignano Smistamento, with many freight trains that arrive, split the locomotive, are marshalled to other tracks and depart.
• Udine Parco s a freight yard represented solely by the entry/exit points UPG and UPU, plus the transit track "Udine Circolazione".
