The scenario simulates Milan's CTC section 14 from Monza and Milan Greco Pirelli, plus a few extensions around these stations. The heavy passenger traffic is from several suburban lines plus regional and long distance trains. There's also freight traffic and rolling stock transfers to the Greco depot.
The mostly cyclic schedule is disrupted by random delays.
There are no assigned platforms, so there won't be penalties for sending a train to a different platform than the optimal one.
