Simulation: Milano - Mortara

 

 

Once a rather active line, and in advance of the closure of the historic Porta Genova station, (scheduled for December 2025), the Milan-Mortara line today has only passenger traffic: suburban line S9, servicing the Saronno-Albairate area, and regional trains operated by Trenord towards Mortada and Alessandria. The timetable is for August 2025. Due to the temporary closure (July-August) of the Milan - Genoa line, regional trains to Liguria are also using this line. A special pilgrim train to France (now very rare at Milan San Cristoforo) is added on Sunday afternoon.
