The Milano - Venice railroad, managed by RFI, is one of the most important railway lines in Italy. It is double-track and electrified with 3000 volt DC.

Trains serve several provincial capitals, such as Brescia, Vernoa, Vicenza and Padua, in addition to the termini Milan and Venice.

This scenario simulates the section from Bivio Lambro (just outside the station of Milan Lambrate) and P.M. Bivio Adda (just before the station of Treviglio).

Between Milan Lambrate and Melzo Scalo the line runs parallel to the 2 tracks of the line "Direttissima" (DD), a section of the high-speed line Milan-Brescia,
