This simulation describes the Rome Termini station, the largest station in Italy's capital. As one could expect, the number of lines that originate from this station, and the number of trains involved is huge. Here's a list of the main lines.

  • Line Rome-Florence (LL): double-track line with electric traction (entry/exit points FID/FIP). This line's traffic is mostly High-Speed trains, InterCity trains and Fast Regional trains coming/going through the Rome Tirburtine station's tracks 6 and 7 (not in the layout).
  • Line Rome-Florence-Milan (AV): double-track electrified line (entry/exit points AVD/AVP). This line's traffic is exclusively of high-speed trains coming/going through the Rome Tiburtine station's tracks 11 through 17 (not in the layout).
  • Line Rome-Naples (AV): double-track electrified line (entry/exit points NAD/NAP). This line's traffic is mostly high-speed trains to/from Naples. The initial section is shared with the line to Tivoli/Pescara up to the Rome Prenestina station (not in the layout) whose traffic is made of regional trains.
  • Line Rome-Formia-Naples: double-track electrified line (entry/exit points FOD/FOP). InterCity and Regional trains traffic to/from Formia.
  • Line Rome-Cassino: double-track electrified line (entry/exit points CAD/CAP). Mostly Regional trains traffic to/from Cassino and the Roman Castles area (Rome-Frascati, Rome-Albano Laziale, Rome-Velletri).
  • Line Rome-Pisa: double-track electrified line (entry/exit points PID/PIP). This line's traffic is of Regional trains to/from Civitavecchia/Grosseto/Pisa, as well as Leonardo Express trains to/from the Fiumicino airport, sharing the section up to Roma Tuscolana (not in the layout).

Moreover there are 6 possible itineraries to shunt rolling stock to the various depots OMAV, Scalo S.Lorenzo, Rimessa Vallone and Rimessa Prenestina.
