This simulation covers the lines between the Italian regions of Veneto and
Friuli Venezia Giulia, along the corridor Venice-Trieste and Venice-Udine.
Specifically, the lines are:
- Linea Venezia-Trieste: double-track line, electric traction.
- Linea Padova-Trieste (diretta): double-track line, electric traction.
- Linea Venezia-Udine: double-track line, electric traction.
- Linea Vicenza-Udine: double-track line, electric traction.
- Linea Venezia-Bassano-Trento: double-track line, electric traction.
- Linea Conegliano-Ponte Nelle Alpi: single-track line, electric traction.
- Linea Treviso-Montebelluna: single-track line, electric traction (under construction).
- Linea Portogruaro-Casarsa: single-track line, electric traction.
- Linea Treviso-Portogruaro: single-track line, electric traction.
In addition to these main lines, there are several freight yards spurs: Portogruaro Interporto,
S.Stino di Livenza Scalo, Electrolux of Conegliano factory, Venta Cucine of Conegliano.
Considering the complexity of the simulation and the grographical extension, this simulation
is recommended for expert players, although it's possible to simulate portions of the
scenario by commenting out the correspoonding .sch files in the main schedule file.
The presence of several freight yards and the multiple choices for itinerary selection
require the utmost attention to the notes associated to each train (in Italian).
