Simulation: Roma Cintura

 

 

This simulation describes the lines that converge on Rome, including lines bypassing the main station. Rome Termini station is excluded from the simulation.

Specifically, the simulation covers the main stations of the lines Rome-Florence high-speed, Rome-Florence, Rome-Civitavecchia, Rome-Tivoli, Rome-Naples high-speed, Rome-Naples (via Formia) and the Roman Castles line.

Almost all lines are double-track with signaling allowing transit on either the left or right track; this requires the use of version 3.9.9 of Train Director and version 5.1 of the RFI signals package.

Almost the entire simulation can be played at 2x speed (3x if you're an expert player), since there are at least 20 trains on average running or shunting every minute, and the high geographic extension makes trains stay on the layout for a long time
